Hi, There's a massive campaign in Canal+ (French pay-TV channel) about this series. It seems to be interesting but I saw there was only one season. Is it a good show ? The last summer, C+ did the same thing with "Flash Forward", another conspiracy thriller series (one season too). It was no so bad but too long for me. What do you think about "The Event" if you already watched it ? Thanks.

Ok thanks. I'll watch the first episodes to have an idea of this series.

The Green Lantern I saw the trailer today and it wondered "What's this ?". I read that the film received negative reviews. It will be released in France the 10/08.

Dog Pound, 8/10, very rude but very realistic.

I definitely like this show. I watched it the past summer on Canal+France. It was the season 5 and when I saw the first episodes, I found it so great ! The episodes are short (20 min), the characters are great and very charming as Pam and Jim. Steve Carrell is amazing and Rainn Wilson so funny. Moreover, I can improve my english with the original version (the French one is so bad !!!). I'm watching the older seasons (1&2 this week-end). Now, we can watch the 6th season on TV but the quality is decreasing. But it's still a great show.

I watched two movies about the same thing : the after-life and what can happens after the dead. Two different movies : The Lovely Bones (Peter Jackson) : I didn't read the book but this film was, for me, a good surprise. 8/10 Enter the Void (Gaspard Noé) : A very very special film, a strange experience. Only if you likes experimental movies (and if you have time - 2:30). ???/10 I confirm : so, so boring ! As usual, the first was better. Midnight Meat Train : with Bradley Copper (Very Bad Trip 2, Limitless) and the former Wimbledon bad boy Vinnie Jones. An horror film adapted from a great novel. I liked it. 8/10

Hi, I would like to share my passion for the electronic music, especially from the 1990' and the 2000'. I'm very disappointed to see that the dance music now is not very good. The shows on the TV and the radio are playing a lot of r'n'b titles. I was a fan of Partyzone for example on MTV but the show has disappeared. Same thing for the other french channels who played dance and techno titles. So, I turn off the radio and I'm listening the titles that I discovered on TV, mostly on Partyzone. Hopefully, I was already pleased with the French touch and David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier and some many other... So I would like to share the titles I'm listening and the clips I'm watching, because a good music has often a good clip... Tell me what do you think about this music and give your own suggestions. Thanks 1) Daft Punk /// Da Funk I disliked this music first. The french radios played it a lot each day. And little by little, I began to like it and it was for me the moment to pass to the electronic music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQUIBJ_jYTU

15) DB Boulevard /// Point of View A nice title from the Italian trio and the singer Moony who sampled the French group Phoenix and their "Heatwave". Don't miss the clip too. 16) Madison Avenue /// Don't call me baby Ranked n°1 in 1999 in the US dance music chart, it's the Australian band's biggest hit. You'll probably recognize a sample from "Ma Quale Idea" by Pino D'Angiò. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4-PcMSxrUA

13) Armand van Helden feat Tara McDonald /// My My My How to forget the famous DJ from Boston. It's not one of his hits but I like this title with Tara McDonald, who will colaborate with David Guetta on Delirious. 14) Lee Cabrera /// Shake It (Move a little closer) A monster hit of 2003 performed by Alex Cartana, the girl in the clip and produced by duo Steven Lee and Albert Cabrera from NY.

11) Tim Deluxe feat Sam Obernik /// It Just Won't Do. A big hit at time and a funny clip. It's the kind of music you'll have in head all day long. 12) Basement Jaxx /// Red Alert You'll see them again in this topic. There were two clips, totally different. I made a choice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x9cjjLut48

10) The Shapeshifters /// Lola's Theme One of my best title. Nice music, nice clip. Enjoy.
-
8) Junior Jack /// My Feeling My favorite DJ, clearly. You'll see again in this topic because every title he made was a hit. He started with Benny B, well-know in France. It's his first title as "Junior Jack" in 1999. 9) Party Zone MTV advert THE best dance music show aired on MTV the saturday night. I discovered a lot of various artists and titles in this program of great quality. It was the good old times, when MTV played good titles and didn't show stupid shows as now...

6) Alcazar /// Crying at the Discotheque A cheap clip on a dancing music, a good mix by the Swedish band Alcazar in 2000 who sampled a famous french singer Sheila (and B Devotion) and his title "Spacer" (1979). 7) Army of Lovers /// Crucified Another Swedish dance music band. They were famous with this title in 1991 and mostly the clip, to watch.

4) Jason Nevins feat Holly James /// I'm in Heaven MY favorite for sure. Since the first time I heard it and saw the clip, it began my best dance music title. You'll recognize a sample from "Right Here/Human Nature" by the band SWV who sampled themselves "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson. So enjoy this title ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4gs0WIKATc 5) The Scissor Sisters /// Laura I discovered them in the excellent Partyzone on MTV saturday night. A really great band but I can't explain why nobody wants to play them in France. They are almost unknown !
-
3) Love connection /// The Bomb Here's one of my favorite title. It was a one-shot for this band, totally unknown in 2000 but definitely indispensable. In fact, the title was first performed by Lost Angels. This new version contained a sample of "Love Magic" performed by John Davis & The Monster Orchestra. Behind "Love Connection", there is an Italian DJ, Ricky Romanini. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kf8191F9POo

2) Bob Sinclar /// My Only Love For me, David Guetta and Bob Sinclar were two of my favorites dj. I say "were" because now they are famous, their musics are always the same, there's not the same quality as the beginning. It's only commercial. So here's one of the first title of Bob Sinclar with a nice clip. Enjoy !
