  1. Well for me, the best music moment of the decade happened very recently. The Big 4 of thrash playing live in Sofia. Dave Mustaine and Metallica finally reunited and playing on the same stage...something I thought I would never see. Then watching Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax jamming to Am I Evil. It don't get better than that. That was a real piece of history I will never forget
  2. Haven't seen it, but am I right in saying that it's a rom-com. Which aren't my type of movies tbh
  3. Any fans of this hilarious show. I love it for the style of humour and simply because it's completely different from anything else on tele. David Mitchell is fantastic and I cannot wait for the upcoming new series
  4. No it has storylines. It's a sitcom rather than a sketch show. Still really funny though if you like their style of humour
  5. I'm not a fan but I'm a huge James Bond fan. Duran Duran did the soundtrack for A View to a Kill. I gotta say, it was a really catchy song, one of the best Bond themes in my opinion.
  6. Yeah, That Mitchell and Webb look is just as funny. Some great sketches in that show. Sir Digby Chicken Caesar being a favourite. Peep Show is different because each person is seen through the eyes of the person who talking if that makes sense. It uses point of view shots for each character.
  7. Is anyone keeping up with the new series. I think it around 6 episodes in and I haven't seen any of them yet Gonna have to get a hold of them and have a catchup.
  8. Watching Dumb and Dumber atm. Haven't seen it in years. Classic. Jim Carrey at his best
  9. One name that I forgot, John Petrucci, how on earth could I forget him. Amazing guitarist
  10. Joe Perry would be high on my list. You can never overlook Joe Satriani who has tutored so many great guitarists such as Kirk Hammett. I think Dave Mustaine is very underrated as a guitar player. Considering he had to reteach himself to play from scratch after his arm injury, he's a real inspiration. Apart from the obvious Hendrix, people I would also include would be Marty Friedman, Jimmy Page, Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, Ace Frehley and of course one of my favourites...the great Michael Schenker. There are so many I've missed out but these are the few that immediately come to mind. As a Megadeth fan, Chris Broderick also deserves a special mention. He's amazing; on record and live.
  11. I didn't particularly like Die Another Day. But his first 3 films were brilliant. He played off Robbie Coltrane so well.
  12. Yeah I wiki'd it. If it was a documentary I may have had a bit more interest
  13. My top 5 would probably be 1)The Living Daylights 2)Goldeneye (Sean Bean, what an awesome villain) 3)For Your Eyes Only 4)Tomorrow Never Dies 5)License to Kill My favourite Bond was Timothy Dalton, even though he only made 2 films. But even though not one of his films is one my list, the best Bond by far was Connery. He just had that aura about him, such a cool actor. I'm not a huge fan of Daniel Craig, but I thought Casino Royale was a good start for him. Quantam of Solace however was a huge let down I thought. One of the worst of the series.
  14. I'm a massive Bond fan. With the exception of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I've seen every film more times than I can remember.
  15. I might check it out. I like horror films but I don't watch them that often
  16. Haven't seen the first but apparently its been plugged as the scariest film ever. That much I doubt but I'm unsure what it's actually about. Is it in the style of a documentary or is it fiction?
  17. I wouldn't recommend it highly but if you like the games, then it's worth a watch. It does bring aspects of the game into it but it doesn't stand out. I think the sequel is going to coincide with the next game, story wise and release wise.
  18. According to my magazine, they're playing next Thursday in Manchester (MEN). Tickets still available though. It's only London that has sold out. They're also playing Newcastle and Birmingham.
  19. Hitman 6.5/10. Gives the game series a bad name but its watchable. Timothy Olyphant just doesn't suit the role of 47 Give me the games any day
  20. I gotta say I'm not a fan but I think they are touring pretty soon. You gonna try and catch them? I would expect tickets would be pretty thin on the ground at this point but you never know
  21. Yeah he toured with Slash in the summer. To be highly recommended by someone like Slash is proof enough that he has an amazing voice. I just wish Alter Bridge would become a permanent fixture. Forget Creed.
  22. I know. I'm excited but I gotta go through the hassle of buying presents for my family. Thinking about getting it done soon. It's come around so quick this year.
  23. For me it has always been that the best bands and vocalists are those that can pull it off live. These pathetic 'stars' on shows like X Factor are nowhere near as talented as they are made out to be and thats why we hardly hear of them after they've left the show (unless you watch ITV2). The ones who use autotune are welcome to it. They will never get the respect and popularity of those who simply don't need it. As a fan of the rock and metal genre, autotune never enters the equation, for it is more associated within the pop genre, which imo has become a complete joke, not only for the quality of the music being so low, but how so many people swallow it as being acceptable music.
  24. Thats always a problem. It doesn't help that GT5 is coming out soon and I'm excited about the NFS Hot Pursuit game.
  25. Yep, same here, I may wait for the full game. But tbh I'm kinda wary of getting it as this game can completely take over your life You on it thinking I'll just play this next game...next thing you know a week has passed. lol
