Runaway Train. Jon Voight in his younger days Pretty good though 7.5/10
-
Already posted this in another topic but I think it belong here. The closing theme to Kill Bill Vol 2. I love it And following on from the Tarantino theme. Inglorious Basterds had a good end theme too As well as these I think it would be wrong not to mention the great Ennio Morricone for his soundtrack work. I'm not really a fan of Westerns but some of his work is amazing In particular for me is The Ecstasy of Gold. (Worth checking out Metallicas cover of this which is also awesome)

Yeah I remember that track. If you have ever played GTA 3. They had a lot of the Scarface soundtrack on the radio stations including 'Push it to the limit','Rush Rush', 'I'm Hot Tonight' and 'She's on Fire'. There is also a really cheesy but catchy 80's track called Dance Dance Dance which is played in the Babylon shootout.
-
I prefer the scenes with Sosa with this theme Repeats itself a bit but I still find it catchy And the infamous Appolonia from The Godfather. Great Tune http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es3Gm5XgBvM That Rock tune (Hummel gets the rockets) is cool as well. Really powerful song
-
The Dark Knight too. One of my favourites. The Dark Knight Theme The Scarface soundtrack basically summed up the 80's perfectly

I've only seen it the one time but I really want to see it a second time. The two most obvious signs I missed was the difficulty that Chuck had in removing his gun belt and how the patient waited for Chuck to leave the table before she scribbled "RUN" on the paper. Should have seen that coming. But tbh, you're so into the story you haven't got time to think about things like that.

Good to see someone else who really enjoyed this. It is the best film I have seen in a long time and has an ending that lets the audience decide for themselves. Once you've seen it you look back and have those moments. Obvious clues that you should pick up on.

Trivium - Like Light To The Flies
-
Their music has been described as Nintendo Metal which describes it quite well

The Valley of the Damned - Dragonforce
-
Yeah, in the studio he quite a good voice. But his voice seriously let him down live. Still as long as they've got Herman Li. I like them because they are like nothing I've heard before they really have their own style. Japanese inspired metal
-
Are you familiar with a band called DragonForce?

I really hope that they do go back to their old standards. I think PES is much more enjoyable than FIFA games. I just hope they make the changes by October
-
I think you're right on a lot of these points PES is better with; Game modes (Champions League, Europa League, Master League) Graphics (Player likenesses are brilliant in 2010) Edit Mode (The way you can edit things to your preference, which can solve the licensing problems) Despite this, I think Gameplay wise, PES has a lot of improvements to make and imo, Konami has become complacent due to its previous success and FIFA (in particular Fifa 10) has taken advantage with realistic and flowing movement. If PES could clone this somehow instead of being quite robotic then it really will be back on top. Running, shooting and GK animations need to be made better.

Yeah sorry bout that. I have a habit of going off topic. I may wait until the price comes down

Just finished watching Leon. Great film 9/10

Great film. Great soundtrack. My favourite is Vol 2 credits song Can't beat a bit of flamenco

Dread and the Fugitive Mind - Megadeth
-
Well I think if your support acts are bands like Dream Theater then yeah, that says a lot as to how big they are in the heavy metal scene. Dream Theater are icons themselves.
-
Yeah but again, they are only touring Eastern Europe currently. I would be willing to travel as far as London if they did a Big 4 show in the UK. Megadeth and Metallica are my two favourite bands. So rare to see them playing together
-
Decided against it. I mean I haven't actually listened to KISS for about 10 years. I loved them when I was younger but I'm not ready to spend a load of money (for a poor seat) to a gig I probably won't enjoy as much as I would've done years ago. I have been pinning all my hopes that my beloved Megadeth will tour some UK arenas this year some time. At the minute they are only doing Download which I really can't afford. After the Rust In Peace Tour they are touring central Europe. But no UK dates. Come on Dave, what are you thinking. I really want to see Ellefson play live.

Does your car get damaged on NFS? I think GRID and Burnout have got nailed on.
-
Believe me, GRID is much better than Burnouts latest offering, by far imo. But I would be willing to give a NFS a shot. Which one would you recommend the most or would it be a let down after playing GRID?
-
Are you a Burnout fan? Played and loved every game they've released. Paradise took some getting used to though with the free roam element. Never really player NFS. I played on NFS Hot Pursuit for PS1 when I was young though. Loved it, such a good game. Are the recent NFS trying to be like the Fast and Furious films?

Just off topic slightly but would you recommend going to see KISS. They are in Manchester in a few months and there are still seats available, although probably be up top so not so good. Wondering whether to go. Tickets aren't cheap but they are legends, they have some absolute classic songs and it may be my last chance to see them. What do you reckon?
