You can't really win with the Megadeth setlist in a way. Because even though I say I would love to see some different songs on there...I can't imagine it being without Hangar or Symphony. Metallica were pretty cool. Rather than having their stage right 'at the back' with the crowd in front of them. The stage was in the center of the floor with everyone surrounding it. They were loud! I remember thinking that Machine Head were loud, and then when Metallica were setting up I thought....WOAH! this is gonna be good. They were promoting Death Magnetic at the time so they played a fair few tracks from that. Although I much prefer their earlier material (Ride the Lightning rules), they are exceptional live. The crowd was awesome and they played some great tracks, in particular Blackened, one of my favourites. Kirk Hammett isn't as tight as he used to be but they still sound awesome live. When you have thousands of people chanting 'For Whom the Bell Tolls'...just gives you chills.

I'm actually gonna see Machine Head tonight. They're playing Manchester later. Should be good...and tiring. Will let you know how it goes... Would've been awesome to have Machine Head and Megadeth in one night. When I caught Metallica on tour a few years ago they had MH as support. They seem to have a great balance now with Ellefson and Broderick but did they play a decent set? One thing I think kinda lets them down is that their setlist rarely changes. They have some absolute gems that just never get played live. One song I wish they would make a regular addition is Dialectic Chaos. That track blows me away.

Aw man! Now I'm jealous!! Where did you catch them? I haven't seen them live in a long long time. But I intend to in the near future...hopefully next year. Their new stuff is amazing. Love it. Endgame was brilliant, their best in years. And I think Thirt3en has got some great tracks. I guess highlights for me would be New World Order and Never Dead, that song has so much energy. I would probably say I prefer Endgame more. As that was all 'new material' I guess. Before Th1rt3en has even been released I had heard Sudden Death, Public Enemy, Black Swan and the 2 Youthanasia demos. I think they really had to squeeze this album in between a busy touring schedule.

They're both pretty awesome live. Watching John Petrucci play live is amazing, so talented. And Mikael Akerfeldt is such a funny guy live. It took me a while to come around to their new sound but I really like it now. Yeh, I don't really use last.fm but it has opened me up to bands similar to the ones mentioned. I have been able to branch into Porcupine Tree, Redemption Symphony X, Vanden Plas. Really used to (and still do) love thrash metal bands like Megadeth but more recently I have really taken to the more complex progressive stuff. Years ago I would've thought it crazy to listen to songs longer than 10minutes...now I rarely listen to songs that aren't

A friend of mine really worships them and is always telling me to listen to more of them. Seeing them live must've been cool. I've been really lucky to have seen DT and Opeth in the last few months. Seeing DT again in Feb too...can't wait.

I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan of theirs...but I think Lateralus is a fantastic album. They're a very intelligent band...which is always a huge selling point for me

Awesome. Finally someone on this forum shares my taste in music. They don't come better than Wilson and Akerfeldt He's collaborated on 3 albums of theirs that I know of, Blackwater Park in particular is a stunning album...pretty sure he was involved in Heritage too. He has also done some minor collaboration with Dream Theater too, who I love. His backing vocal sound great in this track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dB1NuL-8Dhc

The Mummy 7/10 They ruined it with the sequels but the first still has its moments

I know someone who does that. I just pretend I can't see what hes doing but in reality, you can't ignore it and it pisses me of. He would have told me that something funny is coming up and then look to make sure I laugh...I rarely do

All 3 games have been PS3 exclusives. I can't recommend them enough. They are worth getting a PS3 for. Personally I'm just looking for a cheap console. As long as it works, I don't care

Yeh I tend to find with any game that playing as the bigger teams gets boring pretty quick

Well when my last PS3 broke I was completely fine with not having one. I didn't miss it. But this game is worth getting a PS3 for and I cannot wait to play through it. The second one is amazing too. Just stunning to look at and gameplay is so good

I'll probably get this around Christmas time myself. Multiplayer looks pretty enjoyable too. This is just my perfect game. Action, adventure and humour. ....shouldn't you be resting up (thermometer in mouth/hot water bottle on your head kinda thing )

Clearly a fast and furious fan

No that looks good to me I just love the sort of humour it has. Its not completely over the top like most US sitcoms. ...that reminds me I have to catch the latest ep
