Pretty long, like 2 and a half hours. That's mainly because it really fleshes out scenes that the book only touches upon and involves several subplots that are not central to the main story (but in a good way, if you get me).

I have no idea what the difference is, sorry. I was actually surprised at the lack of kids, the place was full and I was probably one of the youngest there (for reference; I'm 19). EDIT: I Googled it, HFR 3D is shot in higher than 24fps, so I saw it in HFR 3D.

Yeah mate, at Imax in Manchester, it was quality in 3D (filmed at 48fps). The extended edition won't be out for quite a while; I'd recommend going to see it.

The Hobbit - 10/10 I'm a sucker for Tolkien, plus the visual effects and the way they portrayed the sub-stories was incredible.

I can only apologise to other members and the staff. My activity levels have been terrible lately as I've had lots of Uni assignments, plus I have a second job on top of my coaching. Things have calmed down a bit now, so I'm back!

Same bro, everyone makes it out to be some wonderful time when it snows aplenty and people are out laughing and playing in the streets. But in reality for us Brits it's non-stop rain, wind, sleet and it's like -10C. Screw winter.
