Haha I am glad you are enjoying The Hunter! It really is a fantastic album As for my top favorite Opeth albums, I would rank them in this order: 1. Blackwater Park 2. Orchid 3. Morningrise 4. Still Life 5. Ghost Reveries Honestly, it was a difficult list to make. I could have easily thrown Deliverance and My Arms, Your Hearse in there as well but I think at this moment my top 5 would look like this. As for my favorite 5 Opeth songs: 1. Bleak 2. The Moor 3. A Fair Judgement 4. Deliverance 5. The Night and Silent Water Again, this was another difficult list . But, for now, these would be my top 5 Opeth songs. I'm sure they will chance with time

Yes Lateralus is definitely Tool's definitive album. Everything about it is epic and it is honestly one of the greatest albums I have every heard in my life. I honestly was surprised that you ranked Blackwater Park as third. I always thought it was Opeth's finest work, but then again I'm not as big a fan as you so perhaps I need to listen to their other albums more.

I'm glad you're giving Mastodon a chance! They're epic Okay I guess I will start with Tool and I will try and rank their albums..although this will be pretty tough 1. Lateralus 2. Aenima 3. 10,000 Days 4. Undertow 5. Opiate

I honestly can't think of any bands that they sound much like. I guess they really do have a unique sound to be honest. So do you mean rank the bands in order for the top 5? For example: 1 Opeth 2 Tool 3 Dream Theater 4 Megadeth 5 Mastodon

I honestly need to play on Semi-Pro in order to win games. I used to be pretty good at FIFA and was able to play on the World Class and Legendary difficulties with little problems. FIFA 12 is the hardest FIFA game that I have played.

Two final exams down, two to go

I watched 30 Minutes or Less the other day and I thought it was hilarious. Definitely a great movie if you're in the mood for plenty of laughs.

Yes, they fall under the progressive genre and the sludge metal genre also. All their albums are very good and I think Crack the Skye is their best. Their latest album, The Hunter, is also a fantastic album. Definitely worth checking those two out.

Sounds good, I will have to check out some of these songs. I had never known about The Blackening and as a fan of metal I gotta check this out! Are you a fan of Mastodon at all?
-
Sounds like you had a pretty good night. I honestly have never listened to Machine Head before. Any recommendations as to which songs I should listen to?
-
They did play a decent set and played their most notable hits like Hangar 18, Symphony of Destruction, etc and the encore was Peace Sells. All in all I was very happy with their performance and they sounded great. How was that Metallica show? I've never had the chance to see them live but I would like to sometime.

Believe it or not, Megadeth was a special guest at the Rockstar Uproar Tour. I didn't really want to go but a bunch of my friends were going so I decided to tag along. Bands I didn't care for were performing: Disturbed, Godsmack, Trivium, and In Flames. Originally Machine Head was supposed to be the guest but they were replaced by an unnamed secret guest. I found out a few days before the show that Megadeth was announced as the special guest! I pretty much crapped my pants in excitement. They put on a hell of a show and blew the other bands out of the water

Haha same with me. I never would have listened to these long progressive songs but now I love them, so beautiful and well put together. The musicianship is out of this world. I see you like Megadeth, same here. I saw them live over the summer and I thought they were amazing live. They really have stood the test of time and their new material is great. I loved both Endgame and TH1RT3EN.

I gotta say I am jealous. I would love to see Dream Theater or Opeth, it must have been amazing. I was a pretty hardcore Tool fan myself but I expanded my library and now I don't listen to them as much as I used to. They did however branch me out to bands like DT, Opeth, and PT. Sites like Pandora and Last.fm provide some solid recommendations

Yes a very intelligent band indeed, I was lucky enough to see them live once before in Toronto, CA and it was amazing. I can't wait for them to release a new album since it has been 5 years since they released 10,000 Days

Dream Theater is a great band as well. Are you a fan of Tool?

Opeth is fantastic and I know Steven Wilson collaborates with them. I love when great musicians come together

Haha, yes there is a campaign! I am one of the few people who actually plays the campaign but that's probably because I get crapped on when I play online. Do you have it for PS3 or Xbox 360? I have it for PS3

I picked it up for a similar price and I must say I am also glad I waited. I have just finished the campaign and I really enjoyed the gameplay but I must admit that I was disappointed in the length of the campaign. It was too short for my liking but I am glad the multiplayer mode will keep me entertained for quite a while!
