  2. Hugo 8.5/10 It drags a little bit, but there's moments of pure joy, and some wonderful acting. Plus visually, it's superb. I'd say the director's message is a little heavy handed, and not at all subtle enough. The whole thing seems like an ode to the cinema, so if you're a film geek like me it's a must see. Just don't expect dynamic pacing or anything that unpredictable to happen.
  3. Now I don't think they needed to reboot this series. I would have preffered this movie wasn't even made. But I may have to see it, simply because the villain is "The Lizard". We'll see.
  4. I'm digging this song so much right now. I gotsta share http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3JjlkfX5Gk
  5. Mos Def is one cool dude. Though, I like to mispronounce his first name as "moss".
  6. The original Karate Kid is practically cinematic art. They really shouldn't have done a remake.
  7. Mint bribed and harassed me for about 3 months, but after everything, it was the blackmail that really convinced me to join
  8. 212 by Azealia Banks she's like a female Childish Gambino with a better voice. I remember a while back she covered interpol's Slow Hands. This is way different.
  9. The Nightmare Before Christmas 9/10 Creepy animation, classic Tim Burton, intriguing score by Danny Elfman. I really enjoyed it, even though it's a dark creative adventure disguised as a "kids movie".
  10. No particular order:(I could only narrow down to a top 10) My sincerest apologies Back to the Future Blade Runner Attack the Block Snatch Pan's Labyrinth The Sting The Damned United Hero The Princess Bride Fight Club
  11. Blade Runner 10/10 The whole film is full of deliberate fascinating imagery. If you can handle 80's sci-fi and some disturbing themes, and a movie that can be slow at times, I'd highly recommend. (the Director's cut)
  12. Attack The Block 10/10 make an effort to see this movie. It's Super 8 set in south London with way more bad language, drugs, and violence. Has the feel of a good 80's monster movie.
