I wonder so, always-on kinect and voice commands and all that tv features should use some of the resources of new xbox, memory in particular, right? How much it will affect the actual games?

I have started with free account. Back in February of year 2012 when Mediafire were offers you, if I am not mistaken, 50 GB storage space, with ad-support and 200 mb size upload restriction. But it was good enough for me thus I registered my first account. Then after few months someone suggested upload full matches in one single link because of common issues with rar files (they often were corrupted due to encrypted archives). I decided to give it a go and upgraded my account to Basic. Don't remember all the details but I got additional 50 GB (100 GB in total), as well as opportunity upload big files without splitting them into archives, which was quite handy. However as a 'bonus' my account got bandwidth, and it was pretty small so after using it for some time I decided to go full pro. It gave me more storage space, upto 250 GB, and opportunity to keep all of my files for much longer. Thus I decided never get back to free. I should admitt I was pretty lucky that time because some time later Mediafire has changed options to simlify the system. You will have to pay more to have 200 GB than I was paying for my 250 GB. However I managed to keep my old pro account which I using now, still those 250 GB. As for free account, now Mediafire allow you to have only 10 GB (up to 50 GB) storage space with all the limitations. As you might guess that's just not good enough. Do not forget all that annoying things like ad-support, captcha codes. Did you ever see Mediafire page with all the ads on it? It is pure abomination, you can hardly see that green donwload button, and when you'll finally find it you will have to go type captcha code. While pro account will show you nice and clear white page. I can even turn on the option for immediate download so after clicking the link you won't even see the page. These are some nice benefits, and of course big storage space and no restrictions. There are two ways now I might follow - either stick with Mediafire and delete some old files or switch to another file host such as hotfile or other similar, which can allow you to have unlimited storage space, thus I can keep all of my files. I can also might think about expand my current Mediafire account to get more space. Aspas: It was easy ... Iago Aspas' first interview as an LFC player Video Length: 1:25 link

Well, you might be right, however let me explain all the reasons of this decision I will have to pay for new pro Mediafire account because creating a free one just not good enough. It is very limited in storage space & short term use, ad-support, captcha codes. Thus soon I will have to make another one, then another one. It might continues forever. So I will have to go with one more pro account as well as keep paying for my current one, otherwise when subscription will end you won't be available download videos more than 200 mb. This is also another downside for having free account - I cannot upload videos more than 200 mb size. However I am not that desperately wish to pay for two pro accounts Anyway, while I am here, on this forum, you basically will still have all of those videos. As I said, if you want download some of the stuff that has been posted by me and been deleted, just make a request here and I will re-upload it. You see, if I will stop upload I more likely will stop support my account as I'm using it only for videos, so if I will leave one day, many of my videos will be unavailable. Another reason to not make new account. I might consider however to switch file host, where you have unlimited storage space. I have hotfile account, don't remember the details though. I will check it later. But this might force you to limitation, as many file hosts require premium accounts for good speed and no resctriction. I will think about it though. By the way, for the last few months (I think) I already deleted some of the old videos from my account and as far as I know no that many people noticed that. I didn't recieve any requests or questions anyway. But as I said, while I am here, you can get all the videos. Posts in this thread still remains so you can just link to them without any issue.

I will delete up to 70-90 GB files on my Mediafire account to clear out the space for new season thus you have about few weeks to check out some old stuff here in case you missing something or just want download it once again. Files which will be removed - from the last season, starting from pre-season in US & Canada and further. In the future you of course can make a request for files that has been posted & removed (if those files been uploaded by myself) so I will re-upload and send you link through pm system. I will upload more videos from '100 PWSTK' series later on next week.

Fair enough then. Thank you for explanation. In case of upgrade your PC and it beeing the same PC all over again, well no doubt. However there should be a difference between PC & console, I mean in that case you might just buy a PC and upgrade it by time, plug controller and play it comfortably. It is next gen console anyway so I may expect something more than just upgraded specs, right? But to each their own. Haha Well, you might try ask your xbox to deliver pizza or some food right to the door I guess. Although, if making a breakfast was one the feature I think it will be enough to convince me to buy it, haha!

My question is, what that particualr reason which may convince you to buy xbox1, apart of course some of the favourite titles? My point is, and how I see it now, or better say, what still concerns me, is that Microsoft have been worked on many features, even though many of them were just a restrictions, but anyway, for the last couple of years right, and now they just reversed almost all of them, including actually some of the good ones, like family sharing and your digital library. Basically they just rolled back their vision and by making that, accepted their weakness. Microsoft failed from the very beginnig to bring clear message to their customers, instead spreading the chaos and confusion around. Insetad of delivers all the pros & cons, they just constantly talked about future, cloud gaming and family share. And Kinect of course. Now almost everything is gone, all the thing you'll have a Kinect, which is still many people do not really want to. So, my question is, what is really special about new xbox, apart from it is new console ? What can convince you to buy it? Is it just basically the same console with a better rig?

My first reaction was 'Is April 1st coming here again?'. I could hardly believe that. I mean, some actual good news for xbox one? Really? But here it is: An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360. Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360. In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console -- there will be no regional restrictions. These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray. xbox.com Well that is indeed some positive decisions, although that's basically how you can play today. Another part of the announcement : While we believe that the majority of people will play games online and access the cloud for both games and entertainment, we will give consumers the choice of both physical and digital content. That's what you should be doing from the very beginning, instead of forcing your consumers into restricted digital 'future' with controls & boundaries, by giving a choice. But now I got some mixed feelings & emotions. It's like everything nice & good now, but still something wrong. I didn't want to post this interview, when I saw it on youtube, however I will now. It's actually pretty much awkward and rough, but still have a look. The interview starts at 1:50 min (I tried make it start from that exact time but it didn't work for some reason): Xbox Spokesman was dodging all the main questions, never really answered any of them. But the most awkward part when Joe said about ability to disable option every 24 hour online check and xbox person reacted like 'Are you under develompent team?' meaning that is not that simple, right? Just a week after E3 - Boom! - Microsoft reverses all the DRM stuff and online check. What? I thought it was so hard & complicated! My main concern was not just about all DRM, online check, resctrictions on selling and lending, region lock, always on kinect and whatever they made, for me it is not abour what they did, but HOW they did it. The way Microsoft were speaking about so called 'future' of gaming which they quickly turned off after seeing all the reactions and pre-orders numbers! So now, instead of admitting their mistakes, xbox team saying about how good and loud they've been hearing all the feedback and reactions of their customers. Certainly they did listen, however I think Sony decision do not force gamers into that DRM crap stuff, not following the odd future of digital slavery, affected Microsoft most. As well of course a fear to lose huge amount of money and of course audience. From the beginning I didn't like the attitude, but more than that, there was so many confusion around. So many changes again and again and again. Can you expect more changes after launch, when millions people already will have console, 'occasional' return to DRM perhaps? I know, many people are definitely happier now, especially xbox supporters. I mean, all those are good things of course, no DRM, internet check (still always watching kinect though). But still I feel like something wrong here. Is it just me perhaps?

I see then. Thank you for answers! Well I think if I'll buy PS 4 or PS 3 I will give original controllers a go anyway. I have read some good feedbacks on new controller though.
-
Here's videos review from TotalBiscuit on Xbox 1 E3 press conf : It is cynical indeed and sometimes overreacted I would say. However MS just gave you all the reasons to do so. All the reasons. And still keep acting in the same way.

In some posts above I posted video about 'game' The Dark Sorcerer. So that was my mistake as it's actually not a game but technical demo by Quantic Dream, just showing all the opportunities wtih emotions and facial expression you will have on next gen consoles. This is a full demo, looks amazingly good and believable, espesially the old Sorcerer himslef. And it is quite funny (:
-
Yeah, I noticed it's the same brand so I decided to post that one. It is from twotter and folks were talking about compatibility with PS 4. Probably will be more in the future after console's release. So, do you just plug them and play or you need to do somethings with settings as well? Does this mean you will certainly buy PS 4 ?
-
Found this one on Twitter, looks pretty good.
-
Yeah. I have read that yesterday with mention about nuclear sub as well. Don't know who's more confused here, interviewer or Microsoft guy, haha I see where's the idea of releasing another model of 360 with look of Xbox1 came from. Thus who doesn't have internet connection or unlimited bandwidth, can buy it and feel like it's new.
-
Yeah, I can see these images. First is just huge (: Never seen them before but I kinda like that first one, looks indeed like Xbox & PS controller in one. So you basically just plug them and play or need to do something with settings?
-
Funny thing, I thought Destiny is more like firts person shooter, however re watching some videos I realized it is actually open world or close to that, online MMO-type, FPS, loot-y thing. I have read it is a bit like Borderlands. In that case it might be really massive game. Not sure about closs platform gaming, I mean can PS users play with Xbox ones as well but I guess probably not.
-
Exactly this ^ I don't much care about design as well, just want to have the ability place it vertically. And one of the main thing it is of course the controller and right now I like xbox1's most. It is relly good and I will definitely would love to get myself for PC one, if there will be (have to). I never used PS 3 controller and never liked it so I cannot speak of it much as well as about new one. It is probably might be better but I agree that sticks kinda close to each other and I like xbox layout more. What's that third party controllers you mentioned? I think I know just one from Mad Catz, they make some different types but I never really used 'em. Razer makes controllers as well, however they all about xbox.

The way I see two consoles now as two different directions. Microsoft is a cash rich and spent lots of money into big games, TV stuff, Kinect and licenses of course (to push some titles from Playstation), while Sony invested in console itself. I mean they did show lots of games as well, but not much top and big titles, some of them been already here like for a few years (Watch Dogs, Beyond Two Souls). However, the product itslef looks extremely good (drm free, used games etc) in comparison with xbox 1. Games will eventually appear later and in a few years there will be lots & lots, but now you have good console without limits and restrictions, and cheaper as well. So money will come, you will have to wait perhaps, but it s a long term goal as I see it. On the other hand Microsoft aims short team goal with early start ahead and with bigger price as a bonus. Goal is to earn as much money as possible, probably wait for reaction and then change things according somethings won't going to work, perhaps price, add used games. I wonder whether Sony did all the things on puropse from the beginning, I mean DRM free, no restrictions, not always online and cheaper price or they initial desire were to do something similar to MS and they just waited to see the reactions. I spent yesterday watching some youtube videos, reading news and reactions, Twitter to see what's going on gamers minds about Sony & MS presser and there's of course obvious cheer on new PS, as from Sony users as well as from xbox base. However, internet might sound loud but it doesn't mean that it is actually the biggest opinion. I am sure many people around the world hardly heard some of the details about PS 4 or X1 and will just buy the new console whichever it is, just because it looks better or they heard this is the best. Microsoft as I understand has early launch which might help as well. Imagine lots of unaware parents will buy xbox because it's there and because it's new. Probably in US it will be more significant because all of the TV features, but I might see it happen. I think the real thing will be clear after few years after launch when both consoles will be up & running, and we might hear more feedback from diffirent types of gamers.

I do not understand what exactly you asking for, but if this is request you pretty much in the wrong section of the forums. But you can leave it right here ---> http://shouts.tv/13 However to do so you need to have 5 posts (thus 2 more for you). If you just want to create that kind of thread so everyone can share videos, you can just do it by yourself here ---> http://shouts.tv/14

And the console itslef, PS 4 hardware revelaed: I like that tiny box. After X1 this thing looks as small as ever, and it looks good actually. Me thinks it's better than PS 3. Might be not the most exciting design in the world certainly, but it's fine. It is also highly appreciated you can land it vertically as well so it won't take all of your space. Would love to plug xbox one controller over there though ^^

Well it looked more like Microsoft were actually imploring Sony to do that. Which they did, with certain satisfaction I might add However I do not feel sorry for Microsoft. They did try so hard to make traps for themselves and then step into it and like 'why it's so hurt'. In this case you shold blame only but yourself and I honestly cannot understand how in the right mind you can do it. How stupid you should be or maybe it is just self-assurance that Microsoft and xbox just extremely good and simply cannot fail. I can see another thing here - blindness. They just so hopelessly blind by all the money they think they might earn. That's where irony might knock on your door - Sony did less price and of course left the door open for all DRM-free stuff however it is long road to success and only wise decisions will lead you through. It is long-term race which MS already loosing, didn't even starting yet. I don't like greedy attitude, I do not feel this is right. One thing though concerned me about Sony press conf. I was a bit afraid that they might actually follow Microsoft way, there's nothing to lose really. Yes, gamers would be pissed off but when two leading next game consoles do the same things you pretty much buy it or quit it and in this case future of console gaming would be in Dark. For gamers of course. On the other hand there was one topic in one of the TotalBiscuit video on youtube where he said that developers might refuse to communicate with Sony because of DRM free thing. It's obviously good for them thus it will increase selling and it might actually push Sony to do the same as Microsoft. But fear not, Sony played wise and got all the cheers by basically doing nothing (apart from of course the hard work by developing the console itslef haha!) And that goes my gratitude to them. I enjoyed that pretty much. I love that video you posted about sharing used games, haha that was fantastic Oh and as you pointed on audience reaction, I loved it. I mean it was indeed obviously good decisions, it is like fresh air you need to breathe. On the other hand, did you notice how actually Microsoft were trying to get some applause out of audience and most of the time just failed. Funny moment was when the guy was announcing Witcher 3 and before speak about the game pointed at audience and said 'You guys rock! (meaning, I will say that and you guys will cheer me for that like I am the best!)'. But was silence instead so that he made that gesture like come on little applause wont hurt and audince like 'yeah yeah wahtever'. It was hilarious! Final words, and those I think the key words: "At Playstation concepts like true consumer ownership & consumer trust are central to everything we do.." Yeah, that's the main thing. Sure they want their money as well, can't blame for it. But I feel difference in desire to get those money. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtubfzgRujE I think we actually might post all of these in PS4 thread you made.
