As Einstein said we cannot solve the problem with the same mind that created it. I was overthinking this a lot and was overstressed these days with everything and couldn't see through - that was a great reminder that when in chaos we just need to calm down and do basic stuff, cos it almost always works. Embrace simplicity. And yes, I haven't uploaded anything these days cos of this. But the match time is today so I needed a solution. Thankfully, my copy is back and running. Thanks again!

Quite often we look so far away that can't notice the solution that inches away. And usually it's the simple one. Yes, it worked, just got my key and registered my copy! I was thinking to email devs but thought they will ask for lots of details that i don't have now - I bought the copy in 2012, no less. But I decided to do it hard way. At least I cleaned up my PC. Again. Thank you so much, man, appreciate it!

I did it hard way and reinstalled Windows again. I tried to wipe IDM clean from the system through regedit command to reinstall it again for a free trial but to no avail. I even fell low and looked up pirated keys but ended up being my copy banned. So clean install and I have a working IDM for a month.
