Basically online content and a couple of co-op missions. If you're going to play online, you might want the GOTY edition for extra characters and maps. If you aren't planning to play online and can get the original release cheaper, you might want to go that route. But overall, no single player campaign expansions are involved.

Earlier today a set of updates to the software that runs this site was performed. Here's a rundown of at least some of the changes affecting users. New warning points system With the recent update, the system upon which warnings are issued has also changed. We have moved from a “3 strikes

36C today, 37C tomorrow. Too hot to really want to do much of anything. Stupid heat wave.
-
You guys kidding me. I'd take 36 and 37 degrees during the day for me. Right now its 11 pm and its 39 degrees. During the day it reaches 44:(

I just don't like the heat that much. I am quite comfortable at around 20C. Just too many extremes here. Can see as high as 38C in the summer and I've seen as low as -10 in the winter. I'd probably complain about a particular temperature less if it didn't swing so wildly between seasons.

I'd like to see it, but their pricing is crazy for an independent documentary. $9.99 digital buy isn't bad, but I don't buy any movie without a rental first. They need to get hooked up on Amazon or something. And a $70 blu-ray? That had better be one hell of a set of special features.

Actually had an enjoyable weekend of movies. First was Act of Valor, thoroughly enjoyable and one of my favorite kinds of movies. 9.0/10 The other weekend movie was John Carter. I quite enjoyed that as well. 8.5/10 With my other recent movies averaging about a 5, it was nice to have some better movies to keep me occupied as the temperatures climbed this weekend.

Ugh, wonderful day for a network outage. Was out of my control unfortunately. Our hosts entire network was just down for about 20 minutes. Here I thought going with a huge host would be beneficial.

We can always discuss it. Let's start considering a date, and perhaps get a signup going. That way things can get underway right after Euro is over.

I may actually go back to playing to run these maps. I got bored a while back and started catching up on other games, but this is one map pack that really looks good. Odd in a way that I am looking forward to CQB in Battlefield yet still don't really like the new Call of Duty.

Do let me know how its working out after a few weeks. This is something new I wanted to try to make it easier to see the most recent posts in the videos section just like the rest of the board.

Some people just can't get along. Even with themselves.

With a continuing focus on media sharing, the Soccer Media category has been brought out of the tiny corner it has been occupying and all subforums are now fully viewable right from the forum index. Between our streaming video, image gallery and downloadable clips, my goal is the continuing growth of SoccerShouts as THE destination for soccer media content.

A Miami police officer on Saturday fatally shot a naked man who was chewing on the face of another man on a downtown causeway off-ramp, police and witnesses said. The Miami Herald reports that gunshots were heard at about 2 p.m. on the MacArthur Causeway off-ramp, which is near the newspaper's offices. Witnesses said that a woman saw two men fighting and flagged down a police officer, who came upon a naked man mauling the other man. The newspaper quoted witnesses as saying that the officer ordered the naked man to back away, and when he ignored the demand, the officer shot him. Witnesses said that the naked man continued his attack after being shot once, and the officer shot him several more times. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/police-miami-officer-shoots-kills-naked-attacker-16438061#.T8M8q8qbHq4 Sounds like the beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse to me.

One more year until I'm 30. Crazy to consider it really, but SoccerPulse started in May 2002, and just a couple of weeks after launch I was celebrating my 19th. I really can't believe that time passed so quickly.

Thanks for mentioning that one. I came across it when seeking some new movies to catch up on, but wasn't sure if it was worth my time. I do have quite a nice selection of new movies now, so I'll probably be updating this thread quite a bit for the next couple of weeks.

Contagion - 5/10 Felt too much like a made for TV movie. Also seemed like Matt Damon was just out of place. I'd say skip it if you already have other things to watch.

Seriously, what is that? If that's a Super Nintendo, I've not seen one that looked like that. Here was the US model I had.

TNB brought that up many months ago actually. (Thread) I haven't heard back yet if it is any good. Metacritic scores are pretty decent though. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/max-payne-3

Looks like not recognizing the developer (Cyanide) for the Game of Thrones game wasn't a good thing after all. Generally very mixed reviews. I think this will be a real love it or hate it type game. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/game-of-thrones I may still end up picking it up, but I'll wait until I get it cheaply later on.

I've basically given up on Battlefield 3 now. The private servers are pretty shit, and EA seems to be enjoying making plenty of money off of them and has mostly removed the standard servers. Real pain in the ass trying to find servers that don't suck now. On the upside, I've used this new time to get back into more solo games. Starting on my backlog, I'm a few hours into Fable 3 finally. Not a bad game so far, but I'm still not sure it's going to live up to its predecessors.

Wow, seriously? I've never heard of something like that happening around here. Then again, I'd be afraid to do something like that. Far too many people around here would likely pull a gun on you for something like that. Just watched Underworld: Awakening last night. Solid 8/10. Would say higher but it almost felt like a few parts that could have been longer were just cut short to fit the movie into an 1:30 block of time.

It has less to do with the size of the image and more to do with dimensions. Those that are larger but not in the dimensions of the gallery box get clipped. Most of the control of that is within a javascript, so I'm not sure what I can do with that. It does appear that I can have scroll bars appear when an image is clipped though, so I'll try that next time some larger images show up in the rotation.
-
Not sure what can be done about that. Seems to be auto resizing to fit the area.

Chronicle : 5/10 Okay movie, but the story wasn't too impressive. The bigger reason I give it low marks is that I really do dislike the "person holding camera" filming, and has annoyed me thoroughly in any movie I've ever seen it done.
-
I've fixed the social media links on the skin. Thanks for pointing that out. I haven't noticed the issue with the images on the homepage. Are you talking about article images or from the gallery rotation?

We're still using the old display template for articles and it likely needs to be updated. I'm working on some new homepage stuff now, so I'll add updating the article view template to the list.
