I went pack crazy yesterday and almost blew my entire coins budget into packs. There was a point when I didn't have space in my tradepile and consumables to store or send anything un allocated so I had to use EASFC catalogue to extend my trade pile to 40 and consumables as well.

Finally got lucky with packs. Opened 2 last night and got some Saudi Silver play , Farfan and 4-1-2-1-2 Formation cards along with the usual non rare players and contracts. Put up the Silver player for 450 for 3 hours and it went for 8500 , Formation card sold as well for 6500. Farfan remained unsold though , may be I ll lower the price from 8k a bit or remain patient.

Useful Tip for those who don't know: Hiring Managers: All rare managers contribute with an increment percentage on the application of contracts: Gold ones with 3%, Silver ones with 2% Bronze ones with 1%. You can hire numerous managers so that the somatory of these percentages max is up to 50%. This means that, when applying a contract card on a player, the number of contracts added is 50% higher. For eg: A 28 Gold plyr contract card then offers a total of 42 contracts (14 extra contract) A 13 Gold plyr contract card then offers a total of 19 contracts (6 extra contract) Basicaly every contract card gets boosted with extra contracts. In a long run, this mehod will be extremely beneficial, and in a short run, it allows you to ensure that the prizes of the game will always be superior to the contracts spent. Your squad's sustainability will be guaranteed. The gold managers are also expensive in the game and you don't have many coins to spend. What you should do is to choose the cheapest rare manager cards to reach the 50%. Unless a good oportunity arises, don't buy a Mancini, a Wenger, a Fergunson or a Low. Choose well those you're going to buy and verify, for example, if there aren't three bronze managers cheaper than a gold one. This is almost a must do investment, even because the manager that sits on the bench is the one that spends contracts and only him must have a specific nationality and tactic to benefit the chemistry of the squad. Note: There are only 15 Gold Rare Managers in FUT (So adds up to 45% if one has all these 15 gold rare mgrs, the rest 5% can be obtained by buying rare silver or bronze managers)

Did you get your coins back??

I had major issues with them. I sold Soldado for 7000 coins and didn't get any coins credited for it and also bought Javi Martinez and it was stuck in my watch list for ages. Finally I got the coins after the Clasico

Well i picked up some cheap players when the EA Servers were having issues during the webapp pre release of the game. I've done okay I think considering last season I used to buy stupid packs and get nothing in trading.

So if you just managed Kagawa and De Gea , not did you end up getting Chilleni and other big transfers. Are you really good at trading? Any tips?

Prices will drop soon after a month or so. I am controlling the urge to open packs right now as I doubt I ll get anything good. I ll get a free pack next week and I ll open that and see if anything good pops up. A friend of mine made a pretty good Russian League team with only 15k if you exclude Eto'o. I ll post link tomorrow.

That is awesome. I am just done with my Strikers position for La liga team. Bought Soldado and if I get more coins I might invest in some other position as well. Bought Turan , Soldado and Costa for 7k. I have 26k left right now after winning division 4 championship

You can play co-op as well now on head to head. That is 2 of you can play together using the same team but you have to do it locally not online ie. you'll have to be on the same system.

I don't think you can customize a formation in UT. But for normal games select any team and formation in your team management and you can edit it.

I played in fifa 10 with a 3-5-2 formation but really it left me exposed at the back. There are people I've come across who even manage to play well with a formation like 4-1-5. I won't be able to defend with so many attacking players. Try and see if custom formation helps you as you can always customize the players position , work rate and runs.

I am playing 4-3-3 at the moment. I was trying out 4-2-3-1 but it didn't work out as I could play with the lone striker. I love the addition of new formation and renaming most of them. 4-3-3 False 9 and 4-3-3 Attack but unfortunately can't use them in UT.

I am not saying that it wasn't amazing. It was fucking awesome till season 5 but when they said they'll tell you all the answers and don't end up doing that in season 6 people are disappointed. Some people had to read blogs and stuff to understand the finale so its your call in the end. Whether you want to invest 5 great seasons and then be disappointed by a season 6 finale where not everything is answered. It is like a series cancelled in between

Don't watch it. You ll be disappointed in the end.

Match day feature Matchday I think its only for the exhibition mode. For example if you were playing ManUtd vs Spurs , then Rooney would be mindblowing and so would Scholes. The defence would suck as well also the commentary would reflect that. Rooney coming back after an injury...

Started with United? Hows the International career mode implemented in this? And does Career mode have the Matchday feature as well which is there on the Exhibition mode?
