Actually after the Euros and creating a new subforum for No Spoilers topics separately idea working I had thought of creating the same thing for England this season which I did. Initially for the first week topics were posted there but people didn't take notice of it even with the major announcements and everything. Then me and Lars(footballars) decided to close it and bring it back to the gold old days only.
There is a topic in every subforum for Non Spoiler links but it isn't used these days. If you would tell me which matches you download usually without having to spoil them for you , I ll make sure alteast those matches are posted in that topic.

As for using the Spoiler tags , it can be recommended but it can't be controlled. The mods can edit the post but they can't assure you whether it would be edited before you see it and there are always fans who posts requests for goals and stuff. It would be difficult to control that.
Rather I feel the solution I've mentioned of a single topic could work for you
