Well I have played 2 seasons with United , but some of those matches were quick sim. So I won everything that way. I am only available on ps3 now. No longer playing on pc as I was frustrated with the connection lost defeats I used to get when I was winning 3-0 or 4-0 easily. 3 seasons on H2H on PS3 and 3 promotions. I have hardly got any competition and I've been scoring goals with teams such as Spurs , Newcastle and others. I even managed to score a goal with a goalkeeper Manuel Neuer , even though it was a penalty.

There are reports of a new slimmer ps3 being launched so check before you get one. I just bought one so I ll be pretty disappointed if they launch one in the next couple of months.

Well yes you can change the settings to help you score from anywhere but those settings should be the same for both you guys if you are not playing online.

I am not sure but if you are using a controller there is a button to tap the left analog button and the attacking player pushes the ball forward to a distance. Your friend might be using that trick or may be you have to see the fatigue of your player and Ronaldo.

Well Ronaldo is pretty quick and CB usually are not that pacey apart from Thiago Silva. He might be playing Ronaldo in a more forward position and you may not have noticed before.

Actually if you customize a formation and different positions , you can also decide and select the areas he will make runs into and defending. The amount of attack and the amount of defensive mind of a player can be decided as well so that may be affecting the gameplay as well.
